Rinse the green
lentils under running water and leave them in plenty of water overnight.
Finely chop the
onion, set aside.
Finely chop the
tomato, set aside.
Finely chop the
banana peppers, set aside.

Start boiling the
water.
Sautee the onions
in medium heat in olive oil.

Add the green peppers,
continue sautteing for a few more minutes.
Add the chopped
tomato, continue sauteeing for a few more minutes.
Add the pepper
paste and salt, mix well.

Add the green lentils,
mix well.

Add the boiling
water, simmer at low heat for 2 hours.
Serve hot, garnish
with plain yogurt.
